I interviewed freshman Dazzlers Member Emily Vijarro. She has been dancing for almost 8 years, and her favorite styles of dance consist of Jazz and Lyrical. Emily is also our Wind Ensemble 2nd chair in the San Marcos High School band. Woohoo Emily!
‘Honestly, I feel really excited before going onto the field. Of course, there’s the nerves of something going on, but knowing how much work Diamond Line and Dazzlers put into our shows makes it all feel so much better.’
Recognizing the work your team or organization puts in and allowing that to motivate you is a great tactic.
‘Dance is truly something that I really love, and from starting it at a young age and leading up to now, my love for it has grown a lot.’
Like I said, Emily has been dancing for 7, almost 8 years. That’s so long to grow and connect with people, feeling, and movement.
‘Being able to perform with such amazing people, and being directed by our directors is 10 times better as well. It will definitely always have a special place in my heart.’
